You have to keep things in perspective and appreciate how far you’ve come, not comparing yourself always to the next person who may appear to have so much more than you (and remember they may be wealthy, yet miserable).
Leasing domain names and running a web development and marketing company has allowed me to enjoy many luxuries; I remember saying if only I can generate a few extra thousand online a month, and that was over ten years ago! Once you get going online and understand how to generate income online, things can really get going for you.
Then it was I want to get my dream car…a BMW 750LI.
Of course I had many other goals; materialistically and not. But no matter how far you have come along it is better to keep things in perspective. Remember how far along you have come, compete against yourself, don’t compare yourself to others, as there will always be many more people much wealthier then yourself!
As I was driving home this evening on the LIE I was quickly reminded of perspective and to enjoy my dream car as I was passed by someone else in perhaps their dream car.
Back to business tomorrow morning developing more domain names for clients, getting more of our domain names build out, and finding companies to lease domain names to.
