So we are getting emails asking if we plan on buying additional .CLUB domain names and if our intention is to also develop these .CLUB domains into online club based websites, and the answer is yes.

.CLUB Domain Project

So we have been brainstorming on which .CLUB premium domain name we should pick first to develop into an online .CLUB fully functional comunity and we feel that WPD.CLUB is it. WPD stands for WordPress Developers Club.

Why WPD.CLUB? First because we are WordPress developers ourselves, and nearly all of the websites we develop for our clients or to be used in our own online marketing efforts are built on, and optimized using WordPress. We have a passion for WordPress which is an even a bigger reason to move forward with WPD.CLUB

We truly believe in the .CLUB Domain Extension and this is why we have already invested in many premium .CLUB domain names and have full intensions to build out these .CLUB domain names into awesome web based communities. Godaddy hosting problems

Review of Godaddy hosting services

Ok, so I am posting this as I am struggling to get what I have paid for with Godaddy and they basically have told me to go F@ck myself, upgrade or eat shit!

Do I sound frustrated???

I have spent alot of money with Godaddy…like well over 75k, and I have about 900 domain names registered at Godaddy at present moment, 4 hosting accounts, 20 business email accounts, I am signed up for the domain discount club, and I am sure I am missing other ways Godaddy gets to take my money.

So why am I so stressed?

The reason is that if you have an ‘older’ hosting account with Godaddy, meaning a non CPANEL hosting account (they recently have come of age and have started offering CPANEL hosting) AND you are experiencing major hosting problems, they will not help you!!!

The answer is…’well we offer CPANEL now and you should switch over’. WTF! If you have multiple hosting accounts and hundreds of websites on these accounts it really is not that easy. I’m pissed because basically they sold you a product they are no longer willing to support you on, which you have paid for and trusted them to build upon, and now they are bending you over and not even giving you a reach around!

So are you a domainer and have any stories or advise to share?

I am glad that we had decided years ago not to put all our eggs in one basket, and have many other hosting accounts spread out amongst other hosting companies.

The frustration point is that we have wasted countless hours dealing with a hosting platform that does not deliver the service it is promoted to deliver!

This doesn’t mean that we are totally jumping ship and taking all of our business away from Godaddy, as they do have some added benefit especially when it comes to the security revoloving around transfering domain names out of your account to someone else’s, but the whole hosting issue we are having definitely led to this ‘Go F yourself Godaddy‘ post.

Godaddy gets a BIG thumbs down for the lack of support, or even thought on how it might effect our business when it comes to their hosting services.

ILUVNEWYORKCITY.COM is one of the 1000+ domain names we own in our portfolio and we are going to either develop directly or offer for lease to the person(s) that have a great idea and he means to develo this domain name into the next multi million dollar online business.

This domain fits in perfectly with many of our NYC development projects, or can directly tie into and enhance the online marketing efforts we are already conducting for the clients we serve in the NYC area. Godaddy Auctions

Ok so I am getting ready to sign off from a 14 hour day and I don’t know if it is from sleep deprivation or if I just don’t get it, but I am checking out the Godaddy domain name auctions and I do not understand how many of these domain names are being auctioned for so much money!

Here are a few of the many I just don’t get:
domainhistory.net for 4,800,000
yaodnfwg.com for 4,800,000
visaform.mobi for 1,800,000
cntvyy.info for 1,800,000
joreyat.org for 1,800,000
faasteamreps.com for 1,800,000
168x.info for 880,000

These are just a few of the very expensive fixed price domain names that you can view in the Godaddy Auctions.

I really do not get it! Am I missing something here? I know anyone can set any price for something and it does not mean that they will ever get it. But is there a strategy behind listing these domain names at these carzy prices on Godaddy?

It makes me rethink many of my domain names 🙂

Domain Name Selection

Here at eProperty Lease we are currently building out domain names for our clients and ourselves. For about 1 year we have been interested in building a domain name community where people can sell domain names, buy domain names, auction off domain names and network with others in a feature rich community website.

Here on our team we have been considering two domain names that we own, and feel are good candidates to build this community on. DN.VU was really a first pick, especially with all of the new tld’s begin launched and the heavy marketing going into it. People are getting more acquainted with non .com’s domains, and here at ePropertyLease.com we understand it really comes down to marketing and providing true value; the later being most important.

We would like some feedback!
