Develop Your Domain Names and Lease Them

Are you interested in domain name development? It appears to be a hot topic! In previous posts I have pointed out how to select domain names for development purposes; to be put to use as part of your marketing strategy, or to lease them to companies and generate some great residual income.

My focus is hand registering domain names that relate to local business and service industries. Many times I pre-sell a client on the idea, which is now much easier then it was 8 years or so ago when I began investing in domain names with the specific intent of development and leasing purposes.

Businesses are much more educated on the value of good (or great) domain names; domain names that are developed and ranked well, or descriptive and brandable domain names that can increase exposure for their company. And as more companies become educated on the benefits of developing domain names, or dozens of domain names for their business, it will only become easier for us domainers and domain name developers to acquire new clients.

Domain Development Opens Doors

Continuing on the subject of domain name development with the intention of leasing them to other companies I want to point out that another business opportunity as presented itself to me over the last few months…and that is a continuous request for a guide, book, or members only forum that outlines the step by step process of buying domain names, to developing and leasing them to companies that will gladly pay for them.

As I have been responding, almost everyday to these inquiries, I would love to create such a forum but at this time I just don’t have the time to do so. This is because currently my time is split between developing domain names for myself and business clients, and most recently for other domain investors and domainers.

Besides the monetary benefits of helping others develop their domain names I get to help new and existing companies and individuals research, select, acquire and develop the best domain name for their business or venture. It is always interesting meeting new people and learning about the projects they are working on. Many times I start off working with someone on a domain name development project and friendships form, and every once in a while I actually decided to invest in the project or company and take equity.

I know that many domain name developers and internet marketers state domain name development is hard and almost impossible to make decent money but I am here to tell you, and motivate you to pursue domain name development as an awesome way to experience unbelievable return on your time spent, and money spent on each domain name. Especially when finding clients to lease your developed domain names.
